Tuition Fees:

Exchange / ERASMUS students of our partner universities do not pay tuition fees The tuition fee for all other international students is 630 € per month.

Application:

In order to apply as an International non-degree-seeking student at EUFH, please fill in our application form and send it together with your course selection (ERASMUS students need to provide the ECTS learning agreement as well), a photograph and a passport copy to the International Office at least 2 months prior to the beginning of your studies at EUFH.

If you come as an exchange student from one of our partner institutions (e.g. ERASMUS), please also enclose a nomination letter from your home university.

If you chose to study in German with our regular bachelor students or you prefer a combination of both options, do not forget to add a confirmation of your German language proficiency from home university (at least Level B1).

Health insurance

Every student in Germany needs to prove that he or she is sufficiently covered by a health insurance before he or she can get enrolled at a German University.

  • Students from countries of the European Union, the European Economic Area, Switzerland, Turkey, Tunisia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro, Croatia and Macedonia:

Normally, your health insurance is sufficient. Nevertheless, you must go to a German health insurance company in order to get a confirmation that your health insurance is valid in Germany. You need to show this confirmation to us before we can enrol you at EUFH.

  • All other students:

In most cases, the health insurance of your home country is not sufficient. In order to check whether your health insurance is valid in Germany, you must go to a German health insurance company. They will either give you a confirmation that your health insurance is accepted or they will offer you a health insurance at reduced student rates of currently about 70 € per month.

Accomodation

EUFH does not have halls of residences/dormitories. Incoming students should therefore begin to search for accommodation as soon as possible.

Most international students in Germany prefer to live in shared flats instead of living alone because it is cheaper and it makes it easier to get in contact to other German students. The international office and EUFH’s local ERASMUS initiative can help and advise in finding accommodation. (More information, addresses and internet links are provided in the Incoming Guide).
